GRAND PRESTIGE / Extra Grande Champagne

On creating this blend I wanted to share with you the type of cognac we drink traditionally in the family.  We are looking for authentic and genuine cognacs.  The principle is not complicated – cognacs which have been aged for more than 40 years under mild conditions, in the same casks for the length of the aging and above all – leave the cognacs alone!  Nature will do the rest.  This cognac is coming from only four different distillations of Grande Champagne all coming from our family “library” which is the mark of the history of the family.  Due to the rareness of these cognacs it is possible that from time to time we are not in a position to propose it to our customers as we prefer to decline a sale rather than propose a product which we consider not up to standard.

Colour

Old gold.  Bright, beautiful gold.

 

Nose

Immediately rich and deep. 
Magnificent wood combined to the aromas
of leather and tobacco. 
Beautiful distinction and complexity.

 

Mouth

To the mouth, the first impression is mellowness
together with walnuts and beeswax. 
Beautifully long and full.
